Artist Statement:

 

Homelessness is not having a safe space to call home.

A recorded 230,000 people are sleeping rough in the UK alone, excluding all individual’s also sofa surfing. 

That’s an increase of 141% since 2010! 

How would you feel if you had to sleep on the streets for no fault of your own?

The Lock&Key Project is here to help those individuals transform their lives, and give them a safe space they can call home.

My work is based on the subject of Homelessness. I designed and created my own charity ‘The Lock&Key Project’ complete with its own Logo and merchandise. My aim isn’t to create a solution but is to help raise awareness and to encourage you to help support this major rising issue in today’s society.
